Senior buys guns at Florida flea market, found guilty of firearms charges in Canada

WINDSOR, Ont. -- A 75-year-old former antiques dealer was found guilty Monday of importing four handguns he had bought at a Florida flea market to resell.John Lawrence Thomas, who used to own an antiques store in St. Thomas, Ont., was stopped with the guns when he drove across the Windsor-Detroit border on March 30, 2009.Thomas testified during a three-day trial that he forgot the firearms were in his trailer."The tragedy of the case is that he j...
